"The Only Dance There Is" is named after a book of the same title on a series of talks by Ram Dass. It's about the dance of life and death. Saṃsāra. Endless cycles. Giving yourself to the Divine to take the lead.

I wanted it to have a sort of "heave-ho" sound, because despite the notion of simply letting go, there is work involved in the process of distilling our Selves from the tangled webs we weave. It's a process that spans generations.

Regardless of absolute lyrical simplicity, the tune is paradoxically deep.
